What We Like

Their Door Cooling+ technology is impressive. It’s different from other traditional fridges because the back is cooler than the front, and LG’s system ensures even cooling throughout the fridge. We also noticed that vegetables stored in the door compartment stayed fresher for longer than in our previous fridges.

It has a ‘Moist-N-Fresh’ feature that uses a mesh-like opening to keep fruits and vegetables at optimal moisture levels. We tested it with leafy vegetables and they were still crisp and fresh even after a week, which is never the case with conventional crisp drawers.

Smart diagnosis is a feature you’ll only realise when you need it. For example, when our refrigerator started making strange noises, we used the LG app and ran diagnostics, which identified a minor issue before it became a serious problem.

What Could Be Better

While a 3-star rating is decent, it’s the most energy-efficient option on this list. If you’re concerned about your electricity bills, this could result in an extra Rs500-800 a year compared to higher-rated models. Furthermore, its shelves are made of toughened glass, which is quite durable but can be quite bulky when removed for cleaning.
