What we like:

Samsung’s digital inverter technology is somewhere between conventional compressors and top-tier inverter models. You get the premium features and decent energy efficiency of a 5-star model without paying as much for this 4-star model.

Its design is truly attractive, and if your kitchen is your pride and joy; then the design, finish, and door handles of this Samsung refrigerator make it seem much more expensive than the price. And unlike other brands, this metallic finish doesn’t show fingerprints.

Also, getting a twin cooling feature at such a price is quite interesting. And both its fridge and freezer sections are separately cooled, so if you open one section, there will be less fluctuation in temperature. Your ice cream won’t melt while you’re grabbing the vegetables.

This is a small detail but the interior lighting is bright and well-positioned, making it easier to find things, especially at night.

What could be better:

If you live outside the metro cities, you need to be thoughtful as some customers say that customer service response is a bit slow.

The cooling performance in extreme heat (40°C+) isn’t as robust as LG’s. If you live in Rajasthan or similar hot regions, you might find the top shelves slightly warmer than desired during peak summer.

Samsung is for those who don’t want their refrigerator to feel cheap. And if your kitchen is visible from the living room and you care about aesthetics, it might be worth spending Rs1,000-Rs2,000 more. Its performance is absolutely solid, and you won’t regret choosing it.
