What we like: The Canon PIXMA MG2577s is a practical choice for occasional home printing. It handles printing, scanning, and copying all in one compact machine. Setting it up via USB is simple. With print speeds of 8ppm for black and 4ppm for color, it is sufficient for homework, forms, and the occasional photo.
Other things to know: It lacks Wi-Fi connectivity, so you will need to connect it via USB. There is no LCD screen, meaning you have to rely on a computer for setup. The box includes PG-745 and CL-746 cartridges. It is best suited for light usage; for heavy printing, an ink tank model would be a better option.
