This is a battery operated toy, so you will need to have AA/AAA batteries on hand, as a charging cable is not included in the box. Due to the small penguin pieces, it is not suitable for children under 3 years of age. The plastic is lightweight; while it is fine for normal use, it should be protected from rough handling. For best performance, use it on a flat, hard surface, as the track does not operate smoothly on carpets. The music volume may also seem a bit loud for indoor use.
